# Cerbos Hub pricing calculator

The calculator on this page is interactive; this is the formula behind it. For what each plan includes, see [Cerbos pricing](https://www.cerbos.dev/pricing.md).

## How the price is calculated

Cerbos Hub is billed by monthly active principals (MAPs) on a graduated scale: each principal is charged at the rate of the band it falls in, so the first 100 always cost $0.25 each, the next 400 $0.22 each, and so on. Paying yearly takes 15% off. The [pricing calculator](https://www.cerbos.dev/pricing-build-your-plan) uses these same figures, from 100 up to 100,000 MAPs.
